  • How can the whole person be included in bodywork?
  • What kind of listening and verbal response would be most helpful during a bodywork session?
  • How can you listen and be present to what is underneath the muscle tension you feel?
In Rosen Method Bodywork sessions, people feel a deep sense of well-being as they make connections between their muscle tension, breath and unexpressed emotions. The practitioner makes contact with chronic muscle tension in the body and listens intently to subtle – or not so subtle – responses. These moments indicate a shift in the person and create an opening to verbally support what is becoming conscious. This practice of listening to the body, with our whole body, can benefit all bodyworkers, therapists, and seekers looking for a deeper connection with themselves and their clients.
