Christine is an integrative public health nurse who uses a whole person/whole system approach to caring for others. With more than two decades of experience as a registered nurse, she has worked as a clinician, administrator, and supervisor in college student health and counseling. She has taught self-care and coaching principles to undergraduate nursing students and registered nurses and behavior change theory to graduate public health students. Christine has contributed to grant-funded research studies, offering clinical meditation and imagery for symptom and pain management. She has co-authored peer-reviewed journal articles and presented her work and research locally, nationally, and internationally. Christine is committed to supporting upstream solutions that promote optimal health and well-being for individuals and communities.
Christine earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Science in Community Health Nursing (MS) and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Hunter College, City University of New York, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing (PhD) from The Graduate Center, City University of New York. She was among the first group to become a board-certified nurse coach (NC-BC) through the American Holistic Nurses Credentialing Corporation in 2013.
