Hope, Kathy, HHP

Kathy Hope, a native San Diegan, studied liberal arts and photography at several Southern California colleges, and then worked as a photographer for a small publication. In 1990 she heard the call to return to San Diego and begin her journey into holistic health at Mueller College of Holistic Studies. She’s maintained a successful mobile massage practice for 24 years. Kathy continued to develop and deepen her knowledge of bodywork over the years and received her Massage Therapist and HHP certificates in 1995 and 2011, learning directly from the founder of Mueller College. Kathy has extensive experience supporting massage programs and instructors at both Mueller, and in early 2013, at Pacific College. After developing her own unique method of massage, copyrighted in 2012, she is writing the manual for and developing a workshop to teach The Hope Method of Massage. Kathy is committed to mentoring bodywork students to develop themselves as practitioners and to become self-employed, and even created a several-times yearly network event where graduated students and existing practitioners gather to build professional alliances and connections. She is committed to her clients, and treasures their moments of self-discovery and integration that she is honored to be a part of.
