Brent Garcia, DACM, LAc, LMT

He/Him

Dr. Brent Garcia, DACM, LAc, LMT, is a doctor of acupuncture and Chinese medicine, licensed acupuncturist, and a licensed massage therapist in Chicago. He has been in private practice since 2012, and has been providing integrated orthopedic treatments to help people live active, pain-free lives.

Brent was introduced to acupuncture when it helped him quit smoking, while orthopedic massage solved a nagging years-long Achilles tendon problem. He was so impacted that he chose to study and practice acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and bodywork/massage therapy so others would not have to go through the discomfort that he had.

He is an adjunct faculty member with the Pacific College of Health and Science in Chicago, teaching graduate students in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, as well as serving as a clinic supervisor, since 2019.

Brent enjoys watching film noir and 70mm films, and is a member of the Music Box Theatre in Chicago. He also pretends that he lifts weights more often than he does.
