Laura Flowers is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Nationally Certified Herbalist practicing in San Diego. She is licensed in both CA and NY. She holds a Doctorate of Chinese Medicine (DACM) from Pacific College of Health and Science, where she is on faculty. Previously she held the position of chair of Oriental Medicine at the NY campus.
Laura has completed extensive study with Mazin Al-Khafaji, in the field of Chinese Medicine dermatology. She is certified by Virginia Doran in facial rejuvenation acupuncture and has completed a three-year course in Medical Qigong. She is also a certified practitioner of the Sandlin Technique.
For twenty years, Laura was a professional dancer and choreographer. She taught dance at various schools and institutions in New York, including the José Limón School and Long Island University. She holds a BFA in Dance from Adelphi University and an MFA from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts.
