Dr. Genevieve Feliú is a seasoned educator and interdisciplinary expert in learning science and adult learning needs, dedicated to implementing student-centered innovation throughout her career. A trained social scientist, Dr. Feliú combines expertise in human-centered design and innovation strategy to champion faculty development, pedagogical advancement, and innovative curricula to create a future-ready college. Her professional interests include developing AI-educational standards for a more dynamic and relevant higher education experience. She is dedicated to action-oriented equity, inclusion, and social justice, supporting national efforts to advance skills-based education through her work as the co-chair of the JWDN network with the US Chambers of Commerce Foundation.

Dr. Feliú holds a Ph.D. in Organization and Management from Capella University, a master’s degree in sociology and social capital, and a certificate in human-centered design. She regularly presents on topics such as activating voice, human-centered design in education, student success and retention, advancing equity, and how to use data to build better student experiences. She is an expert in virtual workshop design and facilitates leadership and professional development for professional and workforce development audiences. Her leadership in integrating technology and innovative teaching strategies has effectively increased student engagement and retention, reflecting her commitment to enhancing educational advancement for all.
